Mohamed Sanu (WR, CIN) - Waiver Wire Pickups

BALLER MOVE: Add in Most Leagues, Start in Leagues with Three WR Slots

Owned in 44% of Fleaflicker Leagues

ANALYSIS: Sanu is not the Bengals' top wideout, nor is he worthy of being the team's #1 WR even if AJ Green were not there. That said, the third-year receiver threw his second career touchdown pass in his Week 3 game against the Tennessee Titans. That was the fourth passing attempt of his career and his second of the season. The possibility of picking up points for a passing touchdown from a receiver, although slim, can be very intriguing. Sanu is maturing as a receiver, as well, with no drops on the season. Through three games, Sanu has 12 catches for 164 yards and one touchdown. He doesn't see enough targets to make him a consistent startable receiver, but as bye weeks start next week, Sanu could be an interesting option for week 4 in deep leagues at the flex spot or in a league that has three wideout slots. In shallower leagues, however, feel free to leave Sanu on your bench or in free agency unless your roster is incredibly injury-plagued.
