BALLER MOVE: Add in Deep Leagues as Bye or Injury Replacement IF Active
Owned in 50% of Fleaflicker leagues
ANALYSIS: Stewart didn't practice Wednesday, but he has not yet been ruled out for Sunday's Week 6 game against the Bengals. Despite having a quarterback who likes to run the ball, the quarterback actually hasn't been running the ball very much at all, and as a result the Panthers are 30th in the NFL in rushing yards. With DeAngelo Williams out for likely another few weeks, Carolina could desperately use Stewart back. Stewart hasn't played a full season since 2011, so it's not a guarantee that he will ever really be healthy again. Still, if he does come back, he should have enough him in for a game or two of production. At the very least, you can be sure he won't lose you points-- he hasn't lost a fumble in over 300 carries. Keep an eye on Stewart over the rest of the week. If he is able to return, he may be a solid pickup for owners in deep leagues desperate to replace a an injured Montee Ball or Rashad Jennings.
