Steven Jackson (RB, ATL) - Waiver Wire Pickups

BALLER MOVE: Add / Start in Most Leagues for Week 10

OWNED IN: 67% of Yahoo Leagues

ANALYSIS: While Steven Jackson is not the elite rusher he was back in his days in St. Louis, he is still the feature back on a solid Atlanta offense. Even though it's a stretch to call him a waiver wire pickup, at just 67% owned, Jackson is a very solid RB2 in most standard leagues, especially for Week 10. The 31-year-old is still a quality goal line back, so he is likely to find himself carrying the ball across the goal line at least a few more times this season. Plus, he should be well rested after a bye. He ran for 54 yards and a score at home against Tampa Bay, the Falcons Week 10 opponent, back in Week 3. The Falcons should once again find themselves up early against the Bucs, and that could spell a lot of second half touches for Jackson and company. Not to mention that Tampa Bay possesses a very weak run defense, so there will be no problem finding holes to run through. If he's sitting out there on your league's waiver wire, feel free to add him and start him in a tough bye week where you might have roster crunches.
