BALLER MOVE: Add in Deeper Leagues
ANALYSIS: With Ahmad Bradshaw's ankle injury, third-year back Daniel Herron will slide into the role of Trent Richardson's backup. Herron had just nine career carries in his first two seasons, but has shown the ability to run this year, picking up 35 yards on just five touches against Cincinnati in Week 7. Just 1% of Yahoo! leagues currently have the former Ohio State Buckeye on a roster, so owners looking for a running back who will get carries should have no issue grabbing Herron. Given Trent Richardson's history of unreliability, Herron could get a nice opportunity to prove himself as the Colts make their playoff push. Since he is not the primary back as of now, Herron is not the most exciting fantasy option, but he can be viable in very deep leagues for owners looking to replace Ahmad Bradshaw or a running back on bye for Week 12.
