ANALYSIS: Sano has hit safely in every game since his promotion and went yard for the first time last night. The 22 year old has been thrust right into the middle of the Twins’ lineup and, to his credit, hasn’t looked overmatched. He’ll get plenty of RBI opportunities and should be a good source of pop going forward, given the ample power that’s always been his calling card. Sano also carries a huge positional bonus in Yahoo leagues since he’s shortstop-eligible, despite not playing the position since 2011. It’s surprising that he’s unowned in the majority of those leagues, but that won’t last long if he continues hitting this well.
