BALLER MOVE: Target in Late Rounds in PPR Leagues
Current ADP: 222 STD, 134 PPR
ANALYSIS: Roy Helu will serve as Latavius Murray's backup in Oakland, but is definitely the best receiving back on the team. In three full seasons used mostly as a third down back in Washington, Helu averaged 40 catches a season.
Last year, Darren McFadden saw 44 targets despite a poor 5.9 yards per reception that ranked 50th of 57 qualifying backs. Helu also saw 44 targets, but managed 11.4 yards per reception, first among all backs.
Murray will be the week 1 starter, but he has not shown any kind of sustained success, so Helu will get his opportunities.
Helu is definitely worth a look in PPR leagues, and could be a steal at his current ADP, especially if he find himself in an increased role.
