BALLER MOVE: Add in Deep and 2QB Leagues
Ownership: 37% Fleaflicker
ANALYSIS: "Game manager" Alex Smith finally has an arsenal of weapons to work with. In his second year, tight end Travis Kelce appears set to emerge as a star. Kelce, who caught five touchdowns in 2014, reeled in two scores in an 106-yard effort in Week 1 against the Texans.
Additionally, the arrival of wide receiver Jeremy Maclin adds a new dimension to an offense that lacked consistent production from the wideout position last year. In his Chiefs debut, Maclin caught five of his nine targets for 52 yards.
When you throw Jamaal Charles into the mix, the Chiefs have a strong core of offensive talent for the first time in the Alex Smith era.
Smith threw for more yards in each of his first two seasons as a Chief than he ever managed in a single season with the 49ers.
The 11-year veteran is worth an add in two-quarterback leagues or as a backup in deep leagues.
