BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues

ANALYSIS: Jones was positively electric in Week 2, as he had 123 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, while also chipping in three catches for 23 yards. He actually out-touched incumbent starter Alfred Morris in the game, which is an interesting development that many experts have suspected would come to pass.
Jones is a clear playmaker who is simply too talented to ignore. He is surprisingly quick for his size (6’2” and 230 lbs), and he runs with a ton of power, rarely being hit for negative yardage. He also has decent hands - and while he’s no specialist, he is capable enough to keep himself on the field on third downs.
Unfortunately, he does have Alfred Morris to contend with. Alf is still the starter in Washington, and I expect him to remain in that role for the foreseeable future. Morris does actually lead the NFL in carries through two weeks, and he has been quietly consistent ever since breaking into the league. He put up 121 rushing yards himself in Week 1, so it’s not like he’ll be phased out of the game plan.
With Kirk Cousins under center and DeSean Jackson injured, the Redskins won’t lean on the passing game, and there should be enough touches for both Morris and Jones to warrant fantasy consideration. Going forward I like Alf as a low-end RB2, and Jones as an RB3/FLEX option.
