Offenses to Target for DraftKings Stacking:
Los Angeles Dodgers (vs SD)
At home against the Padres with Zack Grienke on the mound, the Dodgers may not have produced runs as expected in 2015, but the team has enough cheap players with plenty of pop to be a solid stacking option this Saturday.
New York Mets (vs WSH)
Sherzer may seem scary on the mound, but the Nationals ace has been roughed around the last couple of months and now faces a strong Mets offense at home. Any stack containing Yoenis Cespedes may prove valuable in this one.
DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for DraftKings
Marco Estrada (SP, TOR) - $7,500
Estrada has nearly blanked the Rays over his career, holding Rays batters to a .154 AVG with no HR and only three RBI. In the second tier of pitchers today, he’s as good a value as they come.
Kyle Hendricks (SP, CHC) - $7,400
Similar to Estrada, Hendricks has also had a great deal of success against his Saturday opponent. Brewers batter have yet to hit a HR against Hendricks in 79 combined AB, and have only driven in five ER. Pairing up Estrada and Hendricks could open up plenty of money for stars on the offensive side.
DFS Infielders to Consider for DraftKings
Chris Davis (1B, BAL) - $4,500
Davis already has enormous pop in his bat, but his three HR and 10 RBI in only 27 AB against Ivan Nova make him one of the better options in the infield today.
Roughned Odor (2B, TEX) - $4,000
Inconsistency may plague him, but when Odor explodes he explodes, and a .533 AVG against Hector Santiago in 16 career AB makes it seem like that might just happen today.
Matt Wieters (C, BAL) - $3,200
The Orioles as a team seem to like when Nova pitches, and Wieters is no different. The Oriole catcher has four HR and seven RBI across a small number of AB against Nova and should be a great value in DFS today.
DFS Outfielders to Consider for DraftKings
Jaun Lagares (OF, NYM) - $2,400
Lagares has enjoyed facing Gio Gonzalez in a small sample size of AB, knocking 10 hits—half of which were for extra-bases—with a HR and four RBI. He’s a great sleeper.
Mike Trout (OF, LAA) - $5,300
One of the most expensive players out there today, Trout is well worth it. It doesn’t get much better than the near .400 AVG with four HR and 11 RBI the star OF has posted against Colby Lewis. He’s well worth the money.
Marcell Ozuna (OF, MIA) - $3,400
It’s been a rough season for Ozuna, but the Marlins OF has had past success against Aaron Harang—seven RBI in only a handful of AB—and his cheap price means he could be a solid sleeper on Saturday.
