Time to Walk the Plank With Buccaneers' Mike Evans?

Straight out of College Station, both the NFL and fantasy football owners had high hopes for Mike Evans. After an impressive rookie campaign, it’s safe to say that the lanky wide receiver has lived up to the hype.

However, this year, things have been different. Starting his sophomore season with hamstring issues has very much been a hindrance for Jameis Winston’s top target. Fortunately, it looks as though Evans’ health has finally turned a corner.

During Week 4, Evans managed to take to the field for 73 offensive plays, per Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times. Smothered by Panthers’ cornerback Josh Norman, Evans only saw eight balls come his way during last week’s content.

Instead, it was Vincent Jackson’s turn to be the focal point of Tampa’s airborne attack. The takeaway here? With two weeks of full-throttle play under his belt, it appears Evan’s hamstring will no longer be a hindering factor.

Fantasy owners should take note and move forward with confidence.
