Through the first three weeks of the 2015 NFL season, Luck looked absolutely nothing like the player we saw back in 2014 who threw for 4,761 yards and 40 touchdowns with only 16 interceptions. Instead, Luck began his 2015 campaign by throwing for an average of 251 yards per game, with five touchdowns and seven interceptions through just those three games. His completion percentage has been poor, coming in at 56.0 to this point.
Worst of all for Luck, he's now dealing with a shoulder injury. This injury left him sidelined in Week 4 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but he still seemed locked in to play on Thursday Night Football against the Houston Texans. Well, that's not happening, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN, who reported that Matt Hasselbeck will be starting for the Colts in Week 5.
It's just been a brutal combination of factors for Luck, who was likely either the first or second quarterback selected in most fantasy leagues. Things could definitely turn around, but there's also the chance that this shoulder injury is worse than the Colts are leading on.
