Hey RotoBallers! We are all well aware that MLB DFS slowly faded away the last few weeks. NFL DFS is fun, but one day a week is simply not enough. Luckily, the NBA is back.

Tuesday night is opening night for the NBA, and we have three contests to work with. If you’re new to the game, you might want to wait until Wednesday to jump into the action. However, for those who can’t wait, we can make a three-game slate work.

Remember, NBA lineups are a little bit different than MLB and NFL lineups. We will find late scratches all the way up until the last minute all season long. So, make sure to keep an eye on iffy players up until the time lineups lock. You never know which injury replacements will get a last-minute boost. Let’s get to it!

Guards with High Value on FanDuel

Reggie Jackson (DET, PG) - $8,300

Sure, everyone wants Steph Curry in their lineups. I can’t blame you. However, you’ll find out later that Anthony Davis and Andre Drummond are my building blocks tonight. So, you’re going to have to pass on Curry tonight.

Jackson was a scoring machine after his trade to Detroit last year. He should continue more of the same this season and is certainly much easier to pay up for than Curry. The Jackson Drummond pairing is sure to produce big numbers if the Pistons want to stay in this game.

Eric Gordon (NO, SG) - $5,200

This is a great price for the potential facilitator of the Pelicans’ offense. Tyreke Evans is a ways away from playing, and Jrue Holiday isn’t quite back to 100% yet. Gordon should take advantage of the opportunity for shots and maybe even run some point guard too.

Forwards with High Value on FanDuel

Anthony Davis (NO, PF) - $11,200

It should be fun to see how high a healthy Davis’ price can get this season. He will be the heart and soul of all things New Orleans again this year, and he’s sure to put on a show against Golden State on the big stage Tuesday. Davis could single-handedly force you to miss out on the money if you fade him, so don’t risk that. Play the stud on Tuesday.

Nikola Mirotic (CHI, SF) - $5,500

When injuries decimated the Bulls last season, Mirotic stepped up and helped keep the offense on track. He seems to be in line to start most games at power forward this year, and that bodes well for his minutes (which are huge in DFS). Mirotic can score from all over the floor and will rack up rebounds too. His price is sure to rise from here, so take advantage while you can.

Andre Drummond (DET, C)

With Greg Monroe no longer in the picture, the Pistons will likely rely on Drummond to do all of the dirty work down low. He showed huge double-double ability last season, and Reggie Jackson will look to him often when the guard is not shooting himself. The Hawks will be a fun first test for Drummond, and I’m excited to see what the big man improved on this offseason.
