ANALYSIS: Fun fact about Rishard Matthews: he is the highest scoring PPR receiver to be owned in less than 70% of Fleaflicker leagues. That surprises me because he has only had one game below 13 PPR points and even in standard he sits at WR19 on the season. I think Matthews is overshadowed by Jarvis Landry but he really shouldn’t be.

In fact, something that really surprised me was the change in targets once Dan Campbell took over as head coach. While Matthews has only seen a modest increase from 6.5 targets to 7 targets a game in the three Dan Campbell games, Jarvis Landry has actually seen a huge decrease from 12 targets a game down to 6.

It seems that Dan Campbell reduced Landry’s role, and with Matthews netting 12 targets last week, I think the next step might be to make Matthews the #1 WR in this offense. Given what Matthews has shown so far, he was already a must-add. If the target increase for Matthews continues he might be a top 15 WR ROS.

The Dolphins have a pretty good schedule too. They have plus matchups against the Ravens, Eagles and Giants. The only matchup I’d avoid is the Jets as Matthews will likely face Revis with Landry in the slot. Go out there and get Rishard Matthews now!
