BALLER MOVE: Add for PTS and 3PM
OWNED: 1% of Yahoo! Leagues
ANALYSIS: You can pretty much read what I wrote about Ramon Sessions here. This add is based purely off of the injury of Bradley Beal, but will pay off dividends for this week and possible longer.
In case you’re too lazy to click the link, Bradley Beal suffered a shoulder injury at the end of the game against Atlanta the other night. This will be a big boost to the value of Gary Neal and Ramon Sessions for the entirety of his absence.
Although I recommend trying to pick up either one of the two, I do prefer Ramon Sessions. These two guys will help you in pretty much the same categories (3PM and PTS), but Sessions gives a bigger boost to FT% and has the ability to get high assist numbers if he is the primary ball handler on the floor.
The upside for Gary Neal is that he is a true shooting guard, which should force Randy Wittman to have him fill most of Beal’s minutes with John Wall on the floor, while Sessions takes Beal’s minutes without Wall. This means plenty of three point attempts for Gary Neal, which should be wide open with teams now focusing even more attention on John Wall.
Definitely keep an eye on the status of Bradley Beal, but for now Gary Neal could provide serious value for PTS and 3PM.
