ANALYSIS: Danny Amendola is a far cry from Julian Edelman, but he's the only player on the Patriots who is capable of replacing that role. While there's still the chance he just goes on the back-burner behind Rob Gronkowski and Brandon LaFell, Amendola is likely the highest upside wide receiver that'll come off the waiver wire over the rest of this season. People might look at his statistics and see inconsistency, but if you take a look at Amendola's previous breakout year (2012), the numbers aren't any different. He's a hopeful WR2 in PPR formats and a FLEX play in standard leagues.
