The waiver wire this week is filled with big men that are actually still in the league. Everyone, minus Alex Len, is an old face that you might have forgotten about but it turns out they're still in the NBA and they're still actually producing. These forgotten-about big guys are all putting up numbers because of injuries and attrition on their teams.

NBA Centers: Week 14 Waiver Wire Pickups & Sleepers
Alex Len (C, PHO) - 38% Owned
Len has been playing better every month for the Suns. The team has had some serious ups and downs especially with the loss of Eric Bledsoe for the season. The Suns are officially in lottery mode and are playing some interesting lineups. Right now Alex Len and Tyson Chandler have been starting next to each other in a dual seven-footer front court. Over the last two weeks Len is putting up a double-double with 11.7 points and 10.7 rebounds a game. As the season continues to go down the drain for the Suns, Len should only continue to get minutes as the team looks to develop their younger players.
Nene Hilario (PF/C, WAS) - 7% Owned
Nene is coming off an injury and has had a very slow start to the season. Recently though he has been heating up as the team has been using him more consistently. The catch is that when they do use him a lot, it seems that he almost always breaks down not long afterwards. When Nene is healthy he is capable of still putting up a solid 10 points and 5 rebounds a game as he's shown over the last few weeks. Being able to predict the health of Nene will be impossible, but for now he makes an intriguing pick-up -- you can always drop him again if (when?) he does get hurt.
Cole Aldrich (C, LAC) - 2% Owned
Blake Griffin is out for a few more weeks with a broken hand because of an in-house kerfuffle. Aldrich will be the main player to benefit from Griffin's continued absence. Over the last month Aldrich has averaged 9 points and 5 rebounds playing a lot more minutes over the last two weeks. The Clippers have been winning with a lot more team ball, instead of stuffing into Griffin and expecting him to dominate. Aldrich is a must grab for the next few weeks because he will be producing with no competition from Josh Smith now that J-Smoove is in Houston.
Spencer Hawes (PF/C, CHA) - 5% Owned
Hawes is one of the rotating big men in Charlotte that stands around and watches Kemba Walker do amazing things. The Bobcats have been dealing with big men injuries all year, with both Al Jefferson and Cody Zeller currently out, at least for the near term. As a result Hawes has been playing a lot more minutes than expected and he has been producing. His 7 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2 assists over the last two weeks are a sustainable amount of production from a big man who, at age 27, is younger than you think he is.
