FanDuel DFS Guards
Russell Westbrook (vs WAS, $10,900)
Russell Westbrook is the best guard option on the board tonight, as he plays the Washington Wizards. The Wizards are going to push the pace of the game, and Westbrook thrives when that is the case. He has over 50 fantasy points in three straight games now, and there is no reason to avoid him. His price tag is still under $11,000. That is not the case on DraftKings. Take advantage of the $100 discount on FanDuel. Westbrook is a triple-double threat every time he takes the court. He actually has the same amount of triple-doubles (with 25 or more regular points) than the rest of the league in the last two years. Seriously, do you really need any more convincing than that?
Dion Waiters (vs WAS, $3,900)
Dion Waiters is playing huge minutes for the Oklahoma City Thunder right now. Of course, Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant are stealing the show, but Waiters should be able to get enough shots off to hit value. As we know, Westbrook is the best guard option on the board, but Waiters is the best value guard option. His price tag is under $4,000, and he should be able to at least hit value. He has very close to 20 plus fantasy points in three straight games. He needs to start contributing in other categories than scoring, but that is unlikely to happen. If it ever were to happen, he could have some serious fantasy potential.
FanDuel DFS Forwards
Kawhi Leonard (vs ORL, $7,300)
Kawhi Leonard has great upside, especially if the game stays close. The problem with the San Antonio Spurs is that they blow a lot of teams out. When that happens Leonard doesn't get enough minutes. He played 35 minutes in his last game, against the Cleveland Cavaliers, and he posted over 30 fantasy points. His price tag is down due to the inconsistent nature of the Spurs' offense, so he makes for a great tournament play tonight. If he sees 30 plus minutes, he should easily go over value, as he is one of the better small forwards in the league. His price tag should definitely be closer to the $8,000 range.
Willie Cauley-Stein (vs MIL, $4,100)
Willie Cauley-Stein has played under 20 minutes in two straight games now, but he was playing over 30 minutes per game prior to that. The Sacramento Kings should give his minutes back to him, but to be on the safe side, do not use him in 50/50 contests. Instead, save WCS for tournaments only. The Milwaukee Bucks are not the greatest team in the world when it comes to defense, so assuming that WCS gets his minutes, he should easily go over value. His price tag is low enough that even if he doesn't get 30 plus minutes, he could still hit value.
FanDuel DFS Centers
DeMarcus Cousins (vs MIL, $11,100)
DeMarcus Cousins was injured in his last game, and he still ended up posting close to 40 fantasy points. It is likely that he plays tonight against the Milwaukee Bucks, and he should be able to do some damage. He does not always hit value, as his price tag is too high for him to do so, but he has tremendous upside. Against the Charlotte Hornets, he posted over 75 fantasy points. Aside from Russell Westbrook and Stephen Curry, no one else in the league has that kind of upside in a non-overtime game. There is enough value tonight to get Cousins rather easily at the center position. Use him in all formats.
