Wayne Ellington (vs SAC, $3,900)
Wayne Ellington has been solid of recent, and his price tag is still low enough to continue to use him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments. In his last six games, Ellington has over 20 fantasy points in three of them. He is playing right around 30 minutes per game for the Brooklyn Nets, so he is definitely worth a look in tournaments. At under $4,000, he only needs 20 fantasy points to hit value, so he is hitting value more often than not right now. He should continue to play well against the Sacramento Kings tonight, as they are the worst team in the league against opposing shooting guards. Ellington has shown flashes of upside in his last couple of games. In one game, he posted over 15 fantasy points at halftime. Unfortunately, he struggled in the second half. Ellington is likely to at least hit value tonight, and he has the potential to exceed value by quite a bit as well.
Thaddeus Young (vs SAC, $6,400)
Thaddeus Young has been solid of recent. So far this season, Young has shown flashes of huge upside, but he has been consistent for the most part. In his last four games, he has over 30 fantasy points in three of them. He only played 25 minutes against the Detroit Pistons, posting only 15 fantasy points. In the other three games, he played over 35 minutes on average. He should play big minutes tonight against the Sacramento Kings, and the Kings are horrible at defending the power forward position. Like Ellington, Young can be used in both 50/50 contests and tournaments. DeMarcus Cousins is going to score early and often, but he is also going to ignore Young while playing defense. Young should see plenty of open opportunities.
