Shelvin Mack finally pulled through for fantasy owners. It is about time. He has been up and down, but it looks like he is finally on the right track. It is definitely a situation to keep an eye on.
As for the rest of the slate, there are plenty of value plays tonight. Enough to easily get some of the better plays on the board in your lineup.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy NBA lineup picks for FanDuel on 3/5/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays on FanDuel.

FanDuel DFS Guards
James Harden (at CHI, $10,900)
James Harden has the most upside of any guard on the board tonight. Even John Wall and Chris Paul rarely post over 60 fantasy points in a game. Harden, on the other hand, has posted over 65 fantasy points in two of his last four games. Tonight, he gets a solid matchup against the Chicago Bulls, who are really struggling right now. While he generally does not hit value due to his crazy high price tag, he is still worth the risk in tournaments. He is easily the best shooting guard on the board.
Reggie Jackson (at NYK, $6,600)
Reggie Jackson is a very up and down kind of player. In his last four games, he has two games over 30 fantasy points and two games under 30 fantasy points. In his last game, he posted 17.1 fantasy points in 31 minutes against the San Antonio Spurs. Three games ago, he posted almost 40 fantasy points in 31 minutes against the Milwaukee Bucks. There is really no formula to his success. He does get a great matchup tonight against the Knicks, so it could be one of his better games. Use him in tournaments, but avoid him in 50/50 contests.
Shelvin Mack (at NOR, $3,500)
Shelvin Mack finally played as well as everyone has been expecting him to play. In 29 minutes against the Memphis Grizzlies, he posted over 30 fantasy points. Tonight, he gets a fantastic matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans, who are one of the worst teams in the league against opposing guards. Even after his great game against the Grizzlies, Mack should be used in tournaments only. He has under 10 fantasy points in two of his last five games, so his downside is pretty low.
FanDuel DFS Forwards
Kawhi Leonard (vs SAC, $8,400)
Kawhi Leonard has been playing excellent of recent. He has over 40 fantasy points in four straight games now, and in his last game, which was against the New Orleans Pelicans, he posted 53.7 fantasy points in 39 minutes on the court. He is playing 35 or more minutes per game right now, and he should be able to dominate the Sacramento Kings. The Kings are horrible against opposing small forwards... and power forwards... and centers... and you get the point.
Kent Bazemore (at LAC, $4,800)
Kent Bazemore has been playing well enough to warrant using him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments tonight. He has 24.7 or more fantasy points in three straight games now. In his last game, he almost posted over 30 fantasy points in 35 minutes against the Golden State Warriors. Tonight, he gets an easier matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers are going to give the Atlanta Hawks some problems, so Bazemore will have to be on top of his game.
Josh Smith (at CHI, $3,500)
Josh Smith only played 19 minutes in his last game, which was against the New Orleans Pelicans, but he did play 25 or more minutes in two straight games prior to that. The Houston Rockets are not really making it a point to get Smith involved in the offense, but he does have solid upside. He has not shown that upside in quite some time, but it is lying dormant. While he should not be used in any kind of 50/50 contest, Smith makes for a solid value tournament play tonight.
FanDuel DFS Centers
Dwight Howard (at CHI, $8,000)
Dwight Howard is the best center option on the board tonight. His price tag should be closer to $9,000 than $8,000. In his last fives games, he has over 30 fantasy points in all of them. He also has 40 or more fantasy points in three of them, if the game against the Utah Jazz is rounded up to the nearest whole number. He has been playing extremely well, and it looks like that is going to continue to happen until he gets injured again, which is bound to happen. The Chicago Bulls are horrible against opposing centers, so Howard's upside is even higher.
