BALLER MOVE: Leave him on the Waiver Wire
OWNED IN: 6% of Fleaflicker leagues
ANALYSIS: There's no need to beat around the bush here. Jimmy Rollins has been on the decline over the past couple of seasons. Already in the latter part of his career in his 17th season, Rollins has struggled a bit in the early going of 2016. Once a power and speed combination, Rollins has hit only one home run and has yet to steal a base on his new team.
Rollins has also been hitting a ton of ground balls, 44.7%, while his line drive percentage has dropped as well, according to FanGraphs. It's unclear how much pop the veteran shortstop actually has left, but it's safe to say that your fantasy lineup won't be missing out on much by leaving Rollins on the wire, even in 14+ team leagues. At this point into the season, there are a couple of other more productive shortstop options likely still available.
