BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 10% of Fleaflicker leagues
ANALYSIS: Known more for his defense, Zack Cozart has never wowed anyone with his bat. A career .249 hitter, Cozart's 2015 campaign was cut short due to injury, but Cincinnati's shortstop has put last year and his past hitting woes behind him, for the time being at least.
Cozart currently owns a .390 batting average with a homer and seven ribbies. Although, so much is pointing towards a regression as the season moves forward. His BABIP sits at .407, over .100 points higher than his norm and his line drive rate of 29.1% is over 10% higher than his career percentage. Cozart has also walked only once so far this season, so unless his hitting continues, his OBP of .381 will surely drop as well. What this is all means is that we need to strike the iron while it is still hot, or any other redundant cliche we can think of that hints at scooping up Cozart now. He did go deep nine times in only 53 games last season, and could provide some pop and the occasional steal amidst his efficient hitting.
