ANALYSIS: Martin Prado has been lauded as a consummate professional in the clubhouse. This may not mean much to fantasy owners, but Prado can contribute the same to your team as he does in real life - consistency. Prado has a career line of .293/.341/.426 and has never hit below .260 in any season in the majors. He is off to a hot start in that department, hitting .374 at the moment. On the flipside, he has never hit more than 15 HR in a season. 10 HR and 60-70 RBI is a reasonable expectation for this season. The one area in which he has seen the most fluctuation, and may be hardest to predict, is runs scored. Hitting second, ahead of Christian Yelich and Giancarlo Stanton is an ideal spot for Prado to score runs. Martin Prado should appeal to deep league owners looking for a steady presence in the infield.
