DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (5/9/16): NBA DFS Advice

By Keith Allison [CC-BY-SA-2.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0)], via Wikimedia Commons

The Portland Trailblazers stole one in game three of their series versus the Golden State Warriors, and will look to even the series on Monday. They'll receive more help as another certain someone will likely miss another game this postseason.

Injuries will also play a role in the Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors series. Two of the games top centers will not see the court tonight, opening up the door for several value options.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy NBA lineup picks for DraftKings on 5/9/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays on DraftKings.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Shaun Livingston (at POR, $5,900)

Stephen Curry is officially listed as doubtful for Monday's contest, and Livingston will again be the benefactor of the reigning MVP's minutes. He hasn't come anywhere close to putting up the numbers that Curry can, or usually does, but has been efficient for his price. Livingston has posted 20+ fantasy points in four straight games, and is a double-digit scoring threat. He's also very capable of flirting with a double-double. He should be used in tournaments.

Dwayne Wade (vs TOR, $8,200)

When there is a Wade, there is certainly a way. The Miami Heat are definitely going to feel the absence of Hassan Whiteside, but they still have the playoff experience of their leader and veteran shooting guard Dwayne Wade. Wade is coming off a 38 point performance in game two, and has turned back the clock this postseason. Use Wade in all formats, as he is now the Heat's number one scoring option.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Al-Farouq Aminu (vs GS, $5,800)

Aminu is coming off a monstrous performance for Daily Fantasy, especially at his very affordable price. In 41 minutes, Aminu posted a double-double, 23 points and 10 rebounds, shooting an impressive 4-5 from behind the arc. Aminu is a generous stat-spreader and can help Daily Fantasy lineups in numerous ways. He's blocked at least one shot in three straight games, and will be a big part of the Portland Trailblazers staying competitive in the series.

Draymond Green (at POR, $11,800)

Draymond has been a beast for Daily Fantasy all season. Why should the postseason be any different? Always a triple-double threat, Draymond has flirted with them throughout the playoffs. He continues to lead the Warriors and pick up the slack alongside Klay Thompson in the absence of Curry. Draymond is expensive, but he is the top option on Monday to break out for 60-70 fantasy points. There's no reason to fade him at all.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Bismack Biyombo (at MIA, $3,900)

With Jonas Valanciunas out for the rest of the playoffs, Bismack Biyombo will see a big boost in minutes played. He's proven that he's capable of holding it down at the center position without Valanciunas in the lineup, posting numerous double-doubles in the regular season. It helps that Hassan Whiteside will also miss Monday's game. The matchup is there. The price is there. And Biyombo could break out while freeing up a ton of cap space.
