BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
OWNED IN: 49% Fleaflicker
ANALYSIS: Danny Duffy has quietly been the best starting pitcher for the defending champions in 2016. The 27-year-old owns a 3.33 ERA and a 1.03 WHIP with a 3-1 record and 58 K in 48.2 IP since joining the Royals’ rotation on May 15. His 29.7% strikeout rate and 6.0% walk rate are also incredibly strong. Duffy has never had much sustained success, but he did manage a 2.53 ERA in 149.1 IP in 2014, so this hot stretch is likely not a fluke. He will draw the Phillies and the struggling Mariners in his last two starts before the All-Star break. Duffy should be, at the very least, a streaming option in all leagues.
