ANALYSIS: Though Devon Travis is just 25 years old, he has already shown great offensive skills in a reasonable sample size at the MLB level. First off, since 2015 Travis has taken 497 AB for Toronto and has a slash line of .302/.345/.485, 18 HR, and six steals in eight attempts for a 75% success rate. Also, with 35 doubles and a triple, Travis has an XBH rate of 10.1%. Disclaimer: Travis has had some pretty one sided splits. He hammers RHP with a .878 OPS and struggles against LHP with a .610 OPS, and he seems uncomfortable at home with an OPS of .666 while he is dominant on the road with an OPS of .943. He had a bad start when he took just 24 AB in May and produced an ugly OPS of .490. In June he had a slash of .302/.333/.531, with five HR, 12 XBH, and a steal. This month he has a slash of .337/.345/.523, with three HR, and nine XBH. Even in July when his OPS was nothing special at .765 Travis still had a BA of .284, with two HR, six XBH, and grabbed two steals. People keep forgetting Devon Travis, and he keeps giving them reasons to remember. With his sneaky steals, consistent BA, and solid power, he best not be forgotten as the fantasy baseball playoffs approach.
