BALLER MOVE: Target ~175
CURRENT ADP: 187
ANALYSIS: In the 2015 NFL Draft, the Packers addressed the secondary, grabbing Damarious Randall and Quinten Rollins in the first two rounds. As a result, they yielded the sixth fewest passing yards in football in the 2015 season. However, they were still vulnerable in the running game, allowing 1,905 yards on the ground, so Ted Thompson scooped up Kenny Clark and Blake Martinez in the 2016 draft to bolster the run defense. Clay Matthews, Julius Peppers, Sam Barrington, Mike Daniels, Datone Jones, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Sam Shields and Morgan Burnett round out an improved and relatively young defensive unit.
On special teams, Ty Montgomery and Micah Hyde both have the ability to break free and find the end zone when returning kicks and punts, respectively.
For fantasy owners who like to wait until the final two rounds for defense and kicker, the Packers could serve as a cheap, reliable source of production throughout the season.
