ANALYSIS: Jaron Brown’s absence and an unhealthy Michael Floyd helped swing the door of opportunity wide open for J.J. Nelson on Sunday. He caught 8-of-12 targets for 79 yards with two touchdowns in the Cardinals’ loss to Carolina. Nelson's success was largely dictated by game flow, with Arizona falling behind 24-0 at one point. He was able to make the most of his opportunities, however, scoring twice in the red zone. Nelson looked good in the offense for the second straight week, meaning the Cardinals will need to think about continuing to get him involved after the bye week. Nelson is worth adding if you have the space — even with his team on a bye — in hopes that he emerges as the clear No. 3 wideout in Arizona.
