ANALYSIS: With Travis Benjamin out on Sunday, Dontrelle Inman drew nine targets (tied for second on the team), catching five of them for 43 yards. He had several of those catches later on in the game to keep drives alive. A big part of Inman’s fantasy success hinges on Benjamin’s health; Inman’s two highest target totals of the season (11 in Week 4, nine in Week 10) have come when a main weapon was out of the game (Antonio Gates Week 4, Benjamin Week 10). He has averaged 5.6 targets per game this season, but when you can get that number close to 10 it’s obviously a big boost to his value. The Chargers will have two weeks to prepare for a game against Houston, who has given up the third least fantasy points to opposing WR this season.
