BALLER MOVE: Target ~280
CURRENT ADP: 319
ANALYSIS: Brandon Moss was already expected to receive a solid number of at-bats, but with Jorge Soler battling an oblique injury and Lorenzo Cain banged up, the 33-year-old slugger figures to play a large role in Kansas City’s offense. Even with both of those guys healthy, he could find playing time in a platoon with Paolo Orlando. Moss hit 28 bombs in a limited role with the Cardinals a year ago, posting the highest fly ball rate in the league (52.6%) and the 14th-highest ISO (.259). He’s crushed four long balls this spring to go along with an impressive .291/.371/.545 slash line. If Moss can stay hot heading into the season, he could quickly become a mixed-league contributor.
