BALLER MOVE: Add in 10- and 12-Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 60% Yahoo!
ANALYSIS: Chris Devenski burst onto the scene last season as a 26-year-old right-hander split between the starting rotation and the bullpen. He posted a 2.16 ERA, a 0.91 WHIP and a 5.20 K/BB rate that was fourth in all of baseball (min. 100 IP), and has somehow improved upon those numbers in 2017— 1.35 ERA, 0.60 WHIP, 25.00 K/BB rate. Obviously that stat line will not hold up over the course of a season, but Devenski has the stuff to continue to dominate in a full workload. He is on pace to eclipse 100 innings for a second straight season, and even if his absurd 52.1 percent strikeout rate is cut in half, that should put him somewhere around the 120 mark. Regardless of his role, Devo holds value in deeper mixed leagues. His ownership has quickly jumped up to 60 percent in Yahoo! leagues, so act fast.
