The WNBA features two games on Wednesday night. The Minnesota Lynx will head to Indiana to meet up with the Fever while the Sky and Wings battle to keep their playoff hopes alive.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings on 8/30/17. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. All "fantasy points" and salary references are exclusive to the DraftKings scoring system. As always, check player statuses prior to lock time.

WNBA - DFS Guards for DraftKings
Skylar Diggins-Smith – G, Dallas Wings @ Chicago Sky ($12,300)
The good news? Skylar Diggins-Smith is averaging 34 fantasy points per game this season. The bad news? She will cost you $12,300 to have her in your lineup. The other good news? Chicago is horrible. As far as guards go, you will not find anyone as consistent and efficient as Diggins-Smith. Chicago gives up the second-most points per game this season so if you are going to spend that kind of cash on a player, you are basically looking at guaranteed points. It is the rest of the roster that you will have to figure out.
Courtney Vandersloot – G, Chicago Sky vs Dallas Wings ($10,300)
We’ve already established that Chicago gives up the second-most points per game in the league. Want to know who the first is? Dallas. Courtney Vandersloot had a rough outing against New York a few nights ago and ended the night with only 11 fantasy points. Not good at all. However, she put up 44 fantasy points against Dallas the last time these two teams met. It is hard to imagine that Vandersloot won’t finish the game with at least a double-double on Wednesday night.
Erica Wheeler – G, Indiana Fever vs Minnesota Lynx ($8,000)
Indiana doesn’t have much to turn to after the season ending knee injuries to Shenise Johnson, Tiffany Mitchell and Briann January. In any event, Wheeler continues to see big minutes during their respective absences and though the matchup isn’t favorable, Indiana has to get some production from somewhere. Wheeler along with Forward Candice Dupree are the best options for the Fever at this point.
Allisha Gray – G, Dallas Wings @ Chicago Sky ($7,400)
The rookie has a chance to put up some points against an inefficient Chicago team. She has played relatively well against Chicago this season and at that asking price, she has the potential to accumulate fantasy points way beyond her value. If you cannot or don’t feel like paying for the services of Skylar Diggins-Smith, give Gray a look. If you are looking for a stacking option, I’m not opposed to pairing Gray with Karima Christmas-Kelly either for a nice one-two punch.
Jia Perkins – G, Minnesota Lynx @ Indiana Fever ($4,400)
If you need to save some cash, check out Jia Perkins. With Minnesota being as good as they are and Indiana being as bad as they are, we have a very good chance at a blowout. If that is the case, expect Perkins to see more time that normal. She is averaging 22 fantasy points over the last five contests, a span that includes a 37 fantasy point performance against the Fever just a few weeks ago.
WNBA - DFS Forwards for DraftKings
Sylvia Fowles – F, Minnesota Lynx @ Indiana Fever ($11,800)
OK, so here is the deal, I don’t hate Glory Johnson but I just don’t understand how she is priced higher than Sylvia Fowles. Granted, Johnson has been playing at a high-level as of late and has hit at least 40 fantasy points in four out of her last five games. Is there a chance she could do it again on Wednesday night? Sure. I’d rather take my chances with Sylvia Fowles though, especially facing a horrible Indiana team. Minnesota is trying to keep their distance on the Sparks heading into the playoffs and Fowles is extra motivated to keep the number one overall seed come playoff time. Like I said, I’m not opposed to using Johnson but I’d rather same some cash and roll with Fowles on Wednesday night. If you can figure out how to use both of them, go ahead.
Maya Moore – F, Minnesota Lynx @ Indiana Fever ($10,700)
If you are looking for a legit stacking opportunity, why not pair up Sylvia Fowles with Maya Moore? Moore always gets shadowed by Fowles but is more than capable of putting up some legit fantasy numbers. Indiana gives up the highest three-point percentage in the league to opposing teams so we can expect Moore to get her shots in.
Jessica Breland – F, Chicago Sky vs Dallas Wings ($7,800)
What are you going to get with Jessica Breland? At least 20 fantasy points (more than likely). If you are playing 50/50, she is a shoe-in to get you some guaranteed points. Though she isn't an efficient scorer routinely, you can bet that she is going to clean up the glass whenever she is on the court. However, though scoring isn't her forte, there is always a chance that Breland could walk away from any contest with a double-double. I don’t mind Stefanie Dolson, but she is inconsistent. I’d rather save some cash and take my guaranteed points on Wednesday night.
Rebekkah Brunson – F, Minnesota Lynx @ Indiana Fever ($6,900)
Rebekkah Brunson suffered an ankle injury a few weeks ago and has been working her way back ever since. Her minutes have been steadily increasing and she should see her normal work load on Wednesday night. She is a rebounding machine, averaging seven boards per game this season. Indiana hasn’t been too hot on the glass all season so it is possible that Brunson could see some solid fantasy numbers in this one.
Marissa Coleman – F, Indiana Fever vs Minnesota Lynx ($3,400)
Not a fan of the matchup but I am a fan of Marissa Coleman. Since the injuries to Briann January, Shenise Johnson and Tiffany Mitchell, Coleman’s minutes have increased. Though there is a chance she doesn’t perform well, there is also a good chance that she does. She won't get you huge fantasy numbers but at that price, there is a good chance that she hits at least fives times value. Natalie Achonwa is priced significantly higher, yet Coleman has nearly outperformed her. I’m going to take my chances with Coleman if cash is tight.
