DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider

Jameson Taillon - vs CIN (DK - $7,300, FD - $6,500)

Taillon's unsightly 4.75 ERA would seem like a good reason to avoid him, but it actually makes Taillon a great buy low candidate on Saturday. Taillon's 3.56 FIP suggests that he's been pitching much better than his ERA would indicate. It also helps that Taillon is at home at PNC Park, a pitcher-friendly environment. Taillon is a pitcher to consider in GPP formats for his low price and high upside.

Dan Straily - vs PHI (DK - $8,600, FD - $8,200)

Straily has an outstanding matchup on Saturday against the Phillies, whose .310 wOBA against righties this year ranks them at 26th in the league. They also strike out at the fifth-highest mark versus right-handed pitching, with a 23.9% K-rate. Straily should have no issues with this lineup, especially at home in Miami where pitchers thrive. He's a pitcher to roll with in cash games, as he has a very high floor.

DFS Infielders to Consider

Wilson Ramos - C, at CHW (DK - $2,800, FD - $2,500)

Despite an ugly full-season line, Ramos has actually been a strong option at catcher over the last 15 days, batting .350 with an .831 OPS. He's also been much better against lefties this season, batting .293 against them, and faces on in Carlos Rodon on Saturday. At such a low price, Ramos can pay off big time.

Albert Pujols - 1B, at TEX (DK - $3,700, FD - $3,100)

With the additions of Justin Upton and Brandon Phillips, Pujols now sits in the middle of a loaded Angels lineup, where he can rack up runs and RBIs. The Angels are going to put a beating on A.J. Griffin, owner of a horrendous 6.21 FIP, so grab Pujols at a very low price and consider pairing him with a few teammates for a stack.

Rougned Odor - 2B, vs LAA (DK - $3,400, FD - $3,000)

Odor is one of the top options at second base against Ricky Nolasco, who has a 5.09 ERA alongside a 1.92 HR/9. Odor's power/speed combo is one of the best in the game, with 27 homers and 13 steals. When he's at home in the fantastic hitter's ballpark in Texas, Odor is worth a play.

Mike Moustakas - 3B, at MIN (DK - $3,800, FD - $3,100)

Moose has the perfect opportunity to break out of his slump on Saturday against Twins starter Kyle Gibson, who has a 5.59 ERA. He's simply at too low of a price for a guy who has hit 35 homers this year.

Jean Segura - SS, vs OAK (DK - $4,000, FD - $2,700)

Segura has loads of value atop the Mariners lineup, as he will get lots of plate appearances and plenty of chances to score some runs. Against Jharel Cotton, one of the worst starting pitchers in the league, you want somebody like Segura who will have multiple chances to hit against him.

DFS Outfielders to Consider

Starling Marte - OF, vs CIN (DK - $3,600, FD - $3,100)

Marte already has 13 steals in just 53 games, making him a valuable fantasy asset even without his normal production at the plate. He'll be facing Tyler Mahle, who he went 3-for-5 against last week, along with a steal.

Steve Pearce - OF, at BAL (DK - $2,900, FD - $2,700)

Pearce and the Blue Jays should put in some work against Wade Miley, who has a 4.99 ERA. Oriole Park is one of the best hitter's parks in the league, so Pearce is a bargain with this matchup.

Howie Kendrick - OF, at MIL (DK - $4,300, FD - $3,000)

Kendrick gets an outstanding ballpark to hit in in Milwaukee as he looks to continue on his stellar August. Kendrick has hit .316 with a .917 OPS in the last month.
