7 years agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver Devin Funchess (shoulder) is not practicing Wednesday. Funchess has been hampered by his shoulder injury to close out the year, but it hasn't kept him off the field, so the Panthers are likely just letting him rest ahead of the Wild-Card game against the Saints this weekend. In two games against New Orleans this year, Funchess caught a combined eight passes for 118 yards and a touchdown. The Saints secondary only improved down the stretch, so it'll be a difficult matchup, but Funchess remains quarterback Cam Newton's top target.
