Dion Lewis Has Sneaky Tough Matchup Against Titans
7 years agoNew England Patriots running back Dion Lewis heads into the Patriots playoff matchup against the Titans playing the best football of his career. He racked up a career-high 896 rushing yards this season and has scored in each of his last three games. Since taking over the lead running back duties 11 games ago, he has recorded at least 60 rushing yards in seven games and has five rushing touchdowns. He will take on a Titans defense that was absolutely destroyed by the Rams' Todd Gurley three weeks ago, but they allowed the eighth fewest fantasy points to opposing backs all season. Other than Gurley, they have not allowed a 100-yard runner all season, and Lewis could also lose red-zone opportunities with the return of Rex Burkhead (knee). Lewis will be an integral part of the Patriots offensive game plan, but his production could disappoint. Lewis is a high-end RB2 in fantasy for this weekend.
