7 years agoVikings offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur is the favorite to be the next Arizona Cardinals head coach, according to the same reporter who was the first to state that Bruce Arians was retiring. Although there have been no significant developments in terms of who will get the job, Shurmur has to be considered an interesting option for fantasy purposes because of the success that the Vikings offense has had under his tenure. There's a chance that Shurmur will bring current Vikings quarterback Case Keenum over with him to the desert if he gets the job, but it's not a guarantee. If that were the case, though, that might be the best-case scenario for the fantasy values of running back David Johnson and receiver Larry Fitzgerald, if he doesn't retire.--mkmillwall
