7 years agoAfter nearly two weeks of interviews for the Indianapolis Colts head coach position, it looks as if two candidates are beginning to stand out from the crowd -- New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels and Houston Texans defensive coordinator Mike Vrabel. Colts general manager Chris Ballard told the media on Saturday that the door is not closed for other candidates to get involved in the mix, but McDaniels and Vrabel are clear-cut finalists to secure the job, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport. The two candidates represent opposite sides of the ball, though it is fortunate that Indianapolis needs complete reform to improve in nearly all statistical categories for next season. McDaniels would clearly be the better hire for fantasy purposes, as he could help to rejuvenate a Colts offense that ranked 30th in passing yards per game and 22nd in rushing yards per game in 2017.--TMax-12
