Bill O'Brien, Brian Gaine Given Five-Year Deals By Texans
7 years agoThe Houston Texans agreed to five-year deals with head coach Bill O'Brien and new general manager Brian Gaine on Saturday, according to a source. With former GM Rick Smith taking an indefinite leave of absence to take care of his sick wife, the Texans held onto O'Brien and added Gaine in the front office. It's good news for Houston's offense with an upcoming young quarterback in Deshaun Watson. If Watson is fully healthy in 2018, they could finally put it all together and make a run in the postseason. Houston's defense should also be improved next year with better health all around.
