Case Keenum Leads Vikings To Thrilling Comeback Win
7 years agoMinnesota Vikings quarterback Case Keenum threw for 318 yards, but none bigger than the 61-yard connection to receiver Stefon Diggs as time expired to send the Vikings to the NFC Championship Game. Keenum completed 25 of 40 passes in the 29-24 win over the Saints and came up huge in the final moments. The Vikings got out to an early lead but had to fight off a determined Saints team led by quarterback Drew Brees. Keenum directed a masterful drive for a field goal to briefly give the Vikings the lead 23-20 before Brees matched that with a field goal drive of his own. Then in the final seconds, Keenum made some big-time throws to drive 75 yards for the game-winner. Keenum and the Vikings will have a chance at the Super Bowl next week when they face the Eagles.
