7 years agoThe Baltimore Orioles are discussing Arizona Diamondbacks infielder Brandon Drury as a potential return for third baseman Manny Machado. The D-backs have become the most serious suitors for Machado, but there is no indication that the sides are close to a deal. Drury is under team control through 2022 and hit .271/.319/.448 in parts of three seasons with Arizona and had 37 doubles and 13 home runs in 135 games in 2017. Drury would be a super-utility player for Baltimore, having experience at second base, third base, shortstop, left field and right field. Baltimore also continues to discuss free-agent third baseman Mike Moustakas as a potential replacement at the hot corner if they deal Machado. Moustakas has a career year in his walk year in KC, and he'd be even more attractive to fantasy owners at hitter-friendly Camden Yards.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
