7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jimmy Nelson (shoulder) is ahead of schedule in his rehab from shoulder surgery, and he plans to throw a baseball for the first time this Friday. He has been using a hyperbaric chamber to speed his recovery, and he spends around two hours a day in the tube. Nelson saw a breakout in 2017, but unfortunately for fantasy owners, he's expected to miss the start of the regular season this year, and there remains no current timetable for his return. But he's way ahead of schedule right now, and he should be able to return sometime in 2018.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
