7 years agoThe Chicago Bears are considering former Raiders offensive coordinator Todd Downing as their next quarterbacks coach. Texans quarterbacks coach Pat O'Hara is also under consideration for the job. Downing, 37, was Oakland's offensive coordinator in 2017 after spending the last two years as the QBs coach working with Derek Carr. Although Carr took a big step back this season, Downing is credited with Carr's rise the last several seasons, and he'd be tasked with improving second-year quarterback Mitch Trubisky in Chicago.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
