Jerick McKinnon Lone Bright Spot In Loss
7 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Jerick McKinnon racked up 126 yards from scrimmage as the Vikings were blown out by the Eagles 38-7 in the NFC Championship Game. McKinnon led the team with 10 carries for 40 yards and also led all Vikings players with 11 catches for 86 yards. The Eagles were determined to take away some of the Vikings downfield passing options, leaving McKinnon open for some check-down passes. McKinnon will be a free agent and the Vikings expect rookie standout Dalvin Cook to return next season from a torn ACL. They also have Latavius Murray in the mix, making the versatile McKinnon a possible intriguing option for other teams. McKinnon may not have the talent to be an elite starter in this league, but in the right situation, he could raise his fantasy value this offseason.
