Danny Amendola Delivers Again In The Playoffs
7 years agoNew England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola scored two touchdowns and caught seven passes for 84 yards in the Patriots' 24-20 AFC Championship Game win over the Jaguars. With the Patriots down 10 in the fourth quarter, Amendola made a fantastic play, catching a Tom Brady pass and muscling his way into the end zone for a nine-yard touchdown. Amendola then sprang free in the back of the end zone to haul in a Brady laser for the eventual game-winning score. The veteran receiver even threw in a 20-yard completion to running back Dion Lewis for good measure. Amendola has taken his game to another level in the postseason, posting 18 receptions for 186 yards and two touchdowns. Amendola will be an X-factor for success when the Patriots look to capture their third Super Bowl in the last four years in two weeks.
