Jaguars Could Cut Allen Hurns
7 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars could decide to cut wide receiver Allen Hurns this offseason in order to create $7 million in salary cap space. The team could also ask Hurns to renegotiate his deal and take a pay cut. Hurns has been an injury risk the last two years in Jacksonville, playing just 21 games. He caught only 39 passes for 484 yards and a career-low two scores in 2017 and wasn't able to take advantage of Allen Robinson (knee) missing the entire season. With the emergence of rookies Keelan Cole and Dede Westbrook, Hurns won't be more than the No. 4 receiver in 2018 if he returns.
