Todd Frazier Agrees To Terms With Mets
7 years agoKen Rosenthal of The Athletic reports that free-agent infielder Todd Frazier has agreed to a two-year, $17 million contract, with the New York Mets. It is a nice deal for Frazier, who aside from home runs, has struggled in recent years. This past season, the 31-year-old hit .213 with 27 home runs and 76 RBI in 147 games between the White Sox and Yankees. With Frazier in the fold, infielder Asdrubal Cabrera will now stay at second base, a position he said he'd prefer to play over third base. Jose Reyes will now move into a utility role with the club. Aside from home runs, Frazier doesn't offer much value, but he is still worthy of a draft pick in 2018 drafts.
