7 years agoIf you’ve been a fantasy owner of New York Mets starting pitcher Matt Harvey at any point after 2015, chances are you’ve said “never again” quite a few times. About that…according to new Mets pitching coach Dave Eiland, Harvey fell into some bad habits mechanically due to the injuries he suffered, has been made aware of them. and is working to fix them for 2018. Yeah, we’ll believe it when we see it. Harvey has been nothing short of a disaster on the mound the past two seasons, and mechanics alone aren't going to take him from holding the worst ERA in baseball among all starting pitchers anywhere close to the level we previously saw him perform at. Harvey is obviously someone to keep an eye on given his history, but he is not worth investing much draft-pick capital on.--John Smith
