BALLER MOVE: Target ~240
CURRENT ADP: 299
ANALYSIS: San Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt missed the final two months of the 2017 season with a concussion, his fourth of his career, yet still remains a solid option in 2018. Belt was on his way to a nice season before landing on the disabled list, posting 18 home runs and 51 RBI in 104 games.
Health will remain a concern for Belt, but he is eligible at first base and outfield and has 20 home run potential. With the addition of Evan Longoria and Andrew McCutchen to join Buster Posey, Belt should have plenty of opportunities to drive in more runs. Belt should be able to hit around his career batting average of .267 and it would be no surprise to see him hit 20 home runs and drive in 70 or more runs.
He should be drafted in NL-only leagues and is a good bet to return value in mixed leagues. He can be obtained at least four rounds later than his ranking dictates and is a safe option at corner infield or utility.
