7 years agoAlex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports that San Francisco Giants outfielder Chris Shaw will strictly play left field this spring, says manager Bruce Bochy. Pavlovic also notes that infielder Ryder Jones will get some time in the outfield. Shaw, one of the Giants top prospects, made the switch from first base to left field in 2017. The 24-year-old is close to the majors but will likely start the season in Triple-A, which would allow him to get everyday at-bats.
