Madison Bumgarner To Start Opening Day For Giants
7 years agoSan Francisco Giants manager Bruce Bochy has announced that starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner will start on Opening Day. This comes as no surprise, as he is one of the best pitchers in the game. Bumgarner spent time on the disabled list in 2017 for the first time in his career after injuring his shoulder. He came back in the second half and overall had a 3.32 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 101 strikeouts in 111 innings. He’ll have a tough task opening up versus the Dodgers, but he remains one of the best pitchers in the game and should be one of the first 10 pitchers off your board.
