7 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles are not expected to re-sign impending free-agent tight end Trey Burton. The Super Bowl champs are almost $10 million over the salary cap and will need to make some cuts to get that number down, with Burton looking like one of the clearer cap casualties. He served as Zach Ertz's backup in 2017 but played well when given the chance. Still just 26 years old, Burton will try to find a team where he gets a chance at more playing time.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
